Where is the Vanderbilt Room located?
We are located in Hudson, NH and proudly serve the greater community and surrounding areas.
When did the Vanderbilt Room open?
We opened July 1, 2025 as Hudson's newest banquet facility, backed by a management team with over 60 years of combined event planning experience.
What sets the Vanderbilt Room apart?
An elegant setting that blends classic sophistication with modern amenities, attentive hospitality, exquisite décor, and seamless coordination from start to finish.
Is the venue handicapped accessible?
Yes. The Vanderbilt Room is fully handicapped accessible, and we have a courtesy wheelchair on site for our clients if needed.
Do you have outdoor space?
Yes. We have an outdoor deck available for guests during your event.
Events We Host
What types of events do you host?
Weddings, birthday parties, showers, retirement parties, family reunions, business meetings, corporate gatherings, and school and sports banquets, along with everything in between.

Booking Your Event
How do I submit an event inquiry?
Fill out the inquiry form on our Private Events page and our team will follow up to help plan every detail.
How do I secure my event date?
A non-refundable $500 room fee/deposit is due with a signed contract to secure your date.
What is the room rental fee?
For events booked between 1/1/26 and 12/31/26, the room rental fee is $500 Monday through Sunday.
Is there a food and beverage minimum?
Yes. A minimum food order of $1,500 is required to rent the room. If the food bill is under $1,500, the difference is added to your invoice to meet the minimum.
Is there a guest minimum for weekday events?
Yes. All Monday through Thursday school and sports banquets require a minimum of 50 guests.

What menu packages do you offer?
We offer a full range of packages to fit any event, including:

Do you offer vegetarian options?
Yes. Vegetarian dishes are marked throughout our menu.
When is my menu due?
Your menu is due three weeks before your event.
When is my final guest count due?
Final guest count is due two weeks prior to your event.
Can I bring my own food or drinks?
All food and beverage must be provided by the Vanderbilt Room.
Can I bring my own cake or cupcakes?
Yes. Cupcakes are allowed. A cake is allowed with a $2 cake cutting fee per person.
Can I take home leftover food?
In accordance with the NH Board of Health advisement, leftover food cannot be taken home.
Bar Service
Where is the bar located?
Conveniently inside the event room.
What bar options do you offer?
You can choose from an open bar, limited open bar, or cash bar, whichever best fits your event.
Pricing, Fees & Payment
What fees are added to my invoice?
• 8.5% NH meals tax
• 5% administration fee
• 22% gratuity
When is payment due?
75% of the invoice is due 5 days prior to your event.
Included with Your Rental (Promotion Through 12/31/26)
Are bartender fees included?
Yes. As part of our current promotion, bartender fees are waived for all bookings through 12/31/26.
Are tablecloths and napkins included?
White tablecloths and napkins are included in your rental.
Can I change the color of my linens?
Yes. Colored linens are available for an additional $10 per tablecloth and $1.50 per napkin. Must be ordered in advance.
Are chair covers available?
Yes. Chair covers are available to elevate the look of your event for $3.50 each.
Entertainment & Décor
Can I have a DJ or band?
Yes. DJs and bands are welcome at the client's expense.
Can I bring decorations?
Yes. Any decorations brought in for your event must be removed at the end of the event.
Setup & Access
When can I access the room for setup?
The room is available to you 2 hours before your event for setup. Weddings receive additional accommodations as needed.
Is smoking or vaping allowed?
No smoking or vaping is permitted inside the Vanderbilt Room or on the outside deck.
Cancellation & Damages
What is the cancellation policy?
If the event is cancelled within 14 days of the event date, the Caterer is entitled to liquidated damages equivalent to 75% of the invoice.
What happens if there are damages?
Any damages to the event space are subject to a minimum $500 fee.
Photography & Marketing
Do you photograph events?
Yes. By signing the contract, clients authorize the Vanderbilt Room to take photos of their event to use for marketing purposes.
